Mathematics Initiative to Support New South Wales Public Schools

Or go to your DoE portal and search for ‘Leading Educational Continuity’.

The Mangahigh platform helps students commit to and build resilience in their learning as they develop a Growth Mindset Workflow to success. Students are highly engaged by the fun nature of the Mangahigh content as they discover deeper mathematical understanding with curriculum aligned quizzes and develop essential skills with challenging games. Whether they are mastering their times tables, calculating angles for the first time, learning algebra or solving quadratic equations, Mangahigh’s engaging content will help them master it and have fun while doing so.

Mangahigh will be accessible for all NSW Public Schools for the duration of Semester 2, 2020.*

Curriculum-Aligned Maths Activities and Games

Mangahigh is fully aligned to the NSW curriculum and will be a great addition to your learning arsenal. The platform can be used on all devices and thus can be used in the classroom as well as at home.

The platform exists out of two types of activities, quiz-like activities (Prodigi) and educational games. Our Prodigi activities incorporate elements of gamification which keeps learning maths fun and exciting. Prodigi is built to support a growth mindset workflow, progressing from easy > medium > hard to extreme questions. Our messaging encourages students to try again if they don’t succeed, or to try again and get a better score than last time if they succeeded.

Next to Prodigi stand our maths games, which are built to incorporate maths throughout the entire game. They tie into the Prodigi quizzes perfectly as students can use the things they learned in the quizzes to get better at the games. We currently have a range of 20 different games to play, you can try them out here!

Real Time Reporting

When your students play through assigned activities, you can use our progress reports to view all of their results in real time. View the collective efforts of your class, or dive deeper into the data by looking at your students on an individual level. This reporting tool makes personalised learning that much easier, so you can offer your students the help they need.
